Welcome to Dripping Springs, Texas - the Austin Wedding location that can't be beat. This will be a day that is spent welcoming people to the Liney Moon - our home away from home.
Arrive when you can and make yourself at home. Closest airport is Austin (AUS) and it is about a 50 minute drive from the airport to the property.
To help everyone minimize the car rentals, I have created a Google doc tracking arrivals and departures to help people ride share. Check it out HERE. Of note, there are a few that are flying into Houston if this is something you are interested in coordinating.
There will be food provided in the great house with a big pizza party and projected movie (Disney's Luca) to kick off the weekend.

Today will be an excursion day and we will go check out why so many people "Remember the Alamo." We will be going to see San Antonio, about an hour and a half south. The plan as of now is to Charter a bus, however depending on the number of people that want to go - we may just have a caravan down. Hopefully we will get a chance to explore the incredible Missions in the area too.
Lunch will be in San Antonio for those that go and on your own for those that stay at Liney moon. There will be general lunch items (sandwich food, snacks, chips, drinks) available.
Dinner will be back on the property and will be a Tex-Mex catered meal.

It's a Lazy Sunday (Wake up in the late Afternoon) and because of that, we will have breakfast in the great house and then go to check out some of what Austin has to offer. We will start with our short fun run on Sunday and relax a bit as we get ready for the hikes that will be over at Pedernales State Park which is only about 20 minutes from the property.
After the the run in the morning and the hike in the afternoon, we will get to enjoy some good food with a lot of references to my life by
I'm excited to be partnering with The Austin Artisan on a unique menu and personal chef experience in the comfort of the Liney Moon that is as unique and special as this event - "Michelin at home." It is going to be a memorable evening!
After dinner, the evening will be spent celebrating with a talent show/roast. Please think about if you want to sing, perform a soliloquy, or write a poem about ME! (or you can always roast me)

Today is the day - I'm 40 years old y'all! ("I like to kick, stretch, and kick!")
We will just be relaxing by the pool, soaking up some great tunes spun by housey DJ - Chris Luno,
and eating some great food courtesy of the DePais family! Prepare for a Brazilian cookout with lots of meat! There may also be a wine tasting for the adults from some of the local vineyards.
Fun activities: friendship bracelets, yard games, pool games, and more!

Parting is such sweet sorrow, but it's time for us all to head back to our regular lives.
Heading back to the airport and flying home will be the main thing that happens today.
